Wife to Justin, Stay at home mom to Hadley, party planner, blogger, and flea market lover. Being the best mom I can be is a goal I will never stop trying to achieve. I love Starbucks, re-purposing furniture, entertaining, and family time.
I met my husband in high school my junior year. We were hiking in the pouring rain on our second anniversary when he purposed, in the mud & on one knee! We got married a year and a half later under a patch of trees in a beautiful field. A BBQ dinner was served in a big red barn and we all danced and laughed the night away under the stars. It was one of the best days of my life. It was so amazing having all the people you care about gather to watch you vow yourself to another. There is just something about weddings and the amount of love and happiness that fills the air.
Come January 2013 we found out we had a little baby Spence on the way.

We couldn't have been happier to find out we were welcoming a sweet baby girl into this world. My husband and his family were especially happy, since she is the first girl they've had in the last 30 years. Finally after the months of waiting she arrived on October 5th, 2012 at 6 o'clock on the dot. Weighing 7lbs and 11 oz and she was 20 3/4in long. We named her Hadley Ava Spence and she is the most amazing little girl ever. I cannot express the feeling of love we have for her. Now at 3 months old I just watch her growing and everyday think to myself I wish time would just slow down. I cannot believe the milestones she has already accomplished and how fast time has flown by, which is the reason I have began blogging. I don't want to miss out on her memories and milestones.
11 fun facts about me!
- I love Starbucks, especially a good vanilla chai.
- Banners, chalkboards, and barn wood are a few of my FAVORITE things.
- I have a constant need to be cozy. Socks, Super soft blankets, & warm drinks are a daily dose for me. If my husband bought me a new blanket every occasion for the rest of out lives, I would be one happy girl!
- I love to decorate but I am never satisfied with it. So my home is ever changing in decorations and furniture arrangements.
- Country music fills our home, Almost constantly!
- I love all holidays and fall is my absolute favorite season.
- I was a cheerleader & love some good football!
- I love family time & outdoor adventures.
- I can't get enough of the beautiful place that we live. If you haven't visited the PNW; put it on your bucket list! It is a must.
- I keep lists for EVERYTHING! The amount of notebooks I have laying around is ridiculous.
